Bedlam was a folk duo that performed in folk venues, festivals and Renaissance Faires along the East Coast of the United States, from around 1998-2006. With a closely blended harmony that brings Simon and Garfunkel to mind, their tunes were drawn from the English, Irish and Scottish folk traditions, as well as adapting some fine literary sources to original melodies.

According to the the group's archived website, this recording "Bedlam" is a compilation of "The Bedlam Boys" and "Goltraighe", by that time already out of print. AllMusic notes a recording called "The Best of Bedlam (possibly the same album) which contains also "Searching for Lambs" and "Carolan's Cup".
